? A World Premiere at Sea ?
A truly special highlight of this festival will be the world premiere of Cathedral of the Seas, a brand-new work composed specifically for us by the visionary Faroese composer and Nordic Council Music Prize nominee, Eli Tausen á Lava. Inspired by the raw, untamed forces of the North Atlantic, this evocative piece paints a vivid acoustic landscape of roaring surf and deep Nordic stillness. We cannot wait to bring this monumental new music to life on stage!

Set in the stunning cultural surroundings of Anneberg Kulturpark, we will be bringing our signature dramatized, memorized performances to the stage. This year’s festival theme is “Roots”, and alongside the premiere, we will share an incredible lineup of vivid soundscapes by Ligeti, Bartók, Vasks, and many more.
A true hallmark of this festival is the spirit of collaboration. We are honored to join forces on stage with the brilliant pianist and festival artistic leader, Søren Rastogi. Furthermore, in partnership with the Jacob Gades Grant, we are excited to perform alongside some of the finest young, up-and-coming musical talents.
